As March is the last month of the financial year, the number of registration will be much more.
The citizens who avail of housing loans to buy plots/houses will be under the condition to complete the registration before March!
Even the entrepreneurs who are interested in getting loans for starting their business will also be under the same constraint of receiving the loan before the end of March.
However, in some registrar offices, a larger number of registrations have been completed during all the week working days.
As such, it has been announced that all the Registrar offices will function on all Saturdays in March to facilitate the extra demand for registrations.
An important note:
As per the Tamil Nadu State Government Registration Act and regulations, based on emergency work on holidays, an additional charge of Rs. 200/- will be collected on these Saturdays.
The Tamil Nadu State Government Minister for Commercial Tax and Registration, P. Murthy, has appealed to the citizens to avail of this opportunity to the maximum extent.
