State Bank of India (SBI) has informed that the Bank employees have planned to go on strike throughout the country on 28th & 29th March as a mark of protest against the central government’s plans to privatise the public sector banks and the plans to submit a petition to the parliament to modify the Bank Law Act, 2021.
26th March is the 2nd Saturday and 27th March falls on Sunday. With the above-mentioned proposal by THE bank employees to go strike on 28th & 29th March, PLEASE NOTE THAT THE BANKS WOULD NOT FUNCTION FOR 4 SUCCESSIVE DAYS FROM 26TH MARCH! As such bank account holders are advised to plan accordingly!
