Southern Railway has announced that a special train will be operated to Tiruvannamalai on the 4th and 5th of May, ahead of the Pournami Girivalam festival. The special train will run from Vellore and Villupuram to Tiruvannamalai. The train from Vellore will depart at 9:50 pm and reach Tiruvannamalai at 12:05 am midnight. Additionally, the train departing from Tiruvannamalai at 3:45 pm will arrive at Vellore at 5:35 pm.
