How many of us know that the liver has the ability to heal by itself? Surprised right!!

Yes, the liver is a unique organ and it can re-grow to normal size even if 90% of it is removed also. Strange but true!!

The liver is a very important organ in us. It is noteworthy that the liver is the largest organ in our body. Not only does the liver remove toxins from the body, but it would also produce bile protein to digest food. When the liver gets damaged badly, then the liver functions would get disrupted inside us. The liver would then start to work slowly or stop working totally. This would lead to a few important symptoms in us. If we do not pay enough attention to these symptoms, then it could lead to liver damage also.

Various important signs of liver damage are

Vomiting in the morning:

After waking up in the morning, some of us could feel nauseous and start to vomit and this could be due to liver damage. The damage to the liver can result in many issues in the digestive system. This could lead to nausea, kind feelings and vomit etc. Please take care.

Fatigue in the morning:

Liver damage is also shown by fatigue feeling after waking up in the morning. This fatigue could happen even after sleeping well at night. It is necessary to go to a doctor and get diagnosed.

Stomach ache:

In some persons, there would be stomach pain and swelling etc and this could be due to liver damage. Usually, pain would be there in the upper right side of the stomach due to increase in the size of the liver.

Yellowish skin colour:

It must be noted that the presence of yellow coloured skin and yellowish coloured eyes would reveal the presence of liver damage in us. The amount of bilirubin would increase if our liver doesn`t function well. As a result, skin would become yellowish.

Puffy swollen face:

After getting up in the morning if you notice that your face has become puffy and swollen then it could be due to liver damage also. Please do not ignore this sign and consult a doctor without fail. Here, the balance of protein and electrolytes in the body would decrease and this would lead to liver damage.
