In this modern age with busy work schedules and lack of time etc, many of us prefer eating instant noodles. This food is affordable, convenient, easy to make and tastier also. It is okay to consume instant noodles once in a while but frequently consuming instant noodles is harmful for our health. The reason for this is instant noodles have high sodium content in them and this would create issues for us

Various health issues we could get by consuming instant noodles frequently are

Rich in sodium content:

To increase their flavour and to prolong their shelf life, instant noodles are packed with salt. It must be taken into account that excessive intake of salt could lead to high BP plus damage to the kidney and more chances of heart disease etc.

Presence of unhealthy fats:

Instant noodles are rich in unhealthy trans fats as they are fried in oils to make them to get their texture and for long shelf life etc. It is true that trans fats lower good cholesterol and increase bad cholesterol in us. This would lead to more chances of getting cardiovascular diseases etc. So, please take care.

Lacks essential nutrients:

The refined flour that is used in making these instant noodles lack essential nutrients like vitamins, minerals, fibres etc. Intake of instant noodles would provide us with empty calories without any nutrients.

Presence of preservatives:

Not many of us would know the fact that instant noodles contain harmful preservatives like TBHQ or tertiary butyl hydroquinone in them. By consuming instant noodles frequently, we could get nausea, dizziness and organ damage also.

Issues in digestion:

When we eat instant noodles often, then it could lead to constipation and bloating etc in us. Eating instant noodles for a long duration can even affect our gut health resulting in chronic digestive issues etc. So, please be careful.

Weight gain:

Consuming instant noodles often could make us gain weight also when we follow a sedentary lifestyle. This could be due to the high calorie and low nutritional value of this food.
