Gold Price Drops in Chennai Today; 22 Carat Gold Down ₹20, Silver Falls ₹5

Gold prices in Chennai witnessed a decline in today`s bullion market trading, bringing some relief to jewellery buyers and investors. Both 22-carat and 18-carat gold rates registered a drop during the morning session, while silver prices also moved lower compared to the previous trading day.

According to the latest market update, the price of 22-carat gold in Chennai has decreased by ₹20 per gram and is currently trading at ₹14,480 per gram.

Similarly, 18-carat gold prices have fallen by ₹20 per gram, with the metal now being sold at ₹12,160 per gram.

Silver prices also recorded a decline. The price of silver has dropped by ₹5 per gram and is currently trading at ₹285 per gram in Chennai jewellery market.
