The functioning times of the rations shops have been changed as under:
• Rations shops in Chennai Metro City and the suburban areas will function from 8.30 AM to 12.30 PM.
• In the afternoon, they will function from 3.00 PM to 7.00 PM.
• For areas other than Chennai Metro City and suburban areas as mentioned above, the ration shops will function from 9.00 AM to 1.00 PM.
• In these areas, it will function in the afternoon from 2.00 PM to 6.00 PM.
