Gold and Silver Prices Decline Sharply in Chennai Today

Gold prices in Chennai witnessed a significant decline in today’s bullion market, bringing relief to jewellery buyers and investors. Both 24-carat, 22-carat, and 18-carat gold rates recorded notable losses during the morning trading session, while silver prices also moved lower.

According to the latest market update, 22-carat gold has fallen by ₹230 per gram, while 24-carat pure gold recorded a decline of ₹251 per gram compared to yesterday’s rates.

Meanwhile, 18-carat gold prices also dropped by ₹195 per gram and are currently trading at ₹11,910 per gram.

Silver prices in Chennai also registered a noticeable decline. The price of silver has dropped by ₹10 per gram in today’s market.
