Previously, one sovereign was valued at Rs. 54,160.00, while a gram cost Rs. 6,770.00. Now, with the escalated rates, a sovereign stands at Rs. 57,920.00, and a gram at Rs. 7,240.00 for pure gold (24 K).
In comparison, the price of silver has also seen an uptick. A kilo of silver is now priced at Rs. 91,200.00, with each gram fetching Rs. 91.20.
