Know about these dietary mistakes that can result in more belly or stomach fat!!

We all want to be fit and healthy without stomach fat etc right?

These days, we see many people around us with belly fat. It is true that the majority of them would have faced humiliation from others. Having lower belly fat can be highly frustrating for a person and it could make a person feel depressed also. The persons with belly fat would try several ways to get rid of the belly fat but would be unsuccessful mostly. There are various reasons why we get lower belly fat such as genetics, consuming an unhealthy diet, poor sleep, lack of exercise etc.

Not eating enough fruits/vegetables etc:

It must be noted that fruit and vegetables have lots of nutrients like fibres, vitamins, minerals etc in them. When a person avoids eating these then he or she would eat unnecessarily or over-eating and it would result in weight gain. Please take care.

Eating overly large portions:

Healthy foods when consumed in large amounts could be dangerous as it could lead to weight gain and belly fat. Point is that when we consume more calories than the body could burn we would put on weight.

Not paying attention to healthy preparation:

Meals when fried with extra oils or butter etc would add more calories to us when consumed. It would be possible to avoid pot belly by consuming grilled, steamed ones as calorie count would be kept lower by these methods.

Not consuming proteins:

Our metabolism would get slowed down when we do not consume enough proteins. Point is that proteins are needed for maintaining muscle mass and boosting metabolism.

Intake of too much sugar:

Sugary drinks or sugary snacks could spike the insulin levels in us. This would increase fat storage. In our body, the lower stomach portion is a common area where fat would be stored. This would lead to belly fat. Please be careful.

Skipping meal planning:

We might eat unhealthy foods with high calories, low nutrients etc when we skip meal planning. By this, we could get fat accumulation in our stomach portion.

Frequent eating:

There are many people who eat frequently without giving time e for the digestion process. This would make the person consume more calories than needed. It is noteworthy that this extra energy is stored as fat in the lower stomach area.

Eating less fibre foods:

When a person eats fibre based foods more, then his or her digestion would be superb. This would keep them full for a long duration. By this, over eating would be avoided. Not consuming fibre foods would lead to more food cravings and belly fat.
